Much of the project area is used for wildlife habitat development by Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. Many lakes in vicinity.

Directions

At Fergus Falls, MN - From East bound I-94, take the west bound Minnesota Highway 210 ("Walmart") exit, and turn right onto highway 210. Go approximately 1.5 miles and turn left onto County 86. Turn Right onto County 15 and go approximately 6 miles to Orwell Dam.

From West bound I-94 approaching Fergus Falls, take Exit 55 and turn left onto County 1. Follow County 1 for approximately 5 miles, and turn right onto County 2 (follow Corps directional sign). Follow County 2 to the junction of County 2 and County 15. Turn right onto County 15 and go approximately 1 mile to Orwell Dam.
